A.M. Pest Control Baltimore ("we," "us," "our") is a family-owned pest control business based in Baltimore, Maryland. This policy explains what information we collect when you contact us, how we use it, and how to ask us to delete it. Plain English. No tricks.
What we collect.
When you submit our booking form, send us an email, or call us, we may collect:
- Your name: so we know who to ask for when we arrive.
- Phone number: to confirm appointments and follow up after service.
- Email address: for written confirmation, service reports, and re-treatment scheduling.
- ZIP code and service address: to confirm we cover your area and to dispatch the technician.
- Service type and details: what pest issue you're dealing with, property type, preferred date, and any description you provide so we can plan the right treatment.
- Basic site analytics: anonymous information about how visitors use our website (pages viewed, device type, referring source). This is aggregate, non-identifying data we use to improve the site.
We do not collect payment information through this website. If you book a service, payment is handled in person or through a separate invoicing system at the time of service.
How we use it.
Your information is used for one purpose: to schedule and provide the pest control service you asked for. Specifically:
- To contact you and confirm your appointment.
- To send written estimates, invoices, and service reports.
- To follow up on the re-treatment guarantee if you need it.
- To respond to your questions.
- To send occasional service reminders (e.g., quarterly plan renewals), you can opt out of these at any time by replying STOP to a text or unsubscribing from an email.
What we don't do.
We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information to anyone, ever. We are a family-owned local business, not a data broker. Your information is not a product.
Who we share with.
We share your information only when absolutely required to provide the service or when legally compelled:
- Form processing. Our booking form is submitted through Formspree, which forwards the form contents to our business email inbox. Formspree's privacy policy is available at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
- Email delivery. Our business email is hosted by Google (Gmail). Google's privacy policy applies to email storage and transit.
- Legal compliance. If we are legally required to disclose information by a valid subpoena, court order, or law enforcement request, we will comply, but only to the extent legally required.
We do not share your information with marketing networks, advertising platforms, lead-generation services, or any third party for promotional purposes.
How long we keep it.
We keep your information only as long as we need it:
- Booking inquiries that don't become customers: 12 months.
- Active customer records (name, address, service history): 7 years from the last service, for tax and warranty purposes.
- Email correspondence: retained in our inbox per standard email retention; you can ask us to delete specific threads.
Cookies and tracking.
Our website uses minimal cookies, primarily for basic analytics and to remember preferences during your visit. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time; the site will continue to function normally.
Your rights.
You can ask us, at any time, to:
- Tell you what we have on file about you.
- Correct any inaccurate information.
- Delete your information from our systems, except where we are legally required to keep it (e.g., for tax records of past services rendered).
- Opt out of any non-essential communications.

Children's privacy.
Our services are intended for adult homeowners, renters, and business owners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. If the changes are significant (e.g., new uses of your information), we'll notify you by email if we have one on file.
